The Ocean Foundation is seeking a Digital Content Manager to join a small and energetic five person External Relations team working to conserve the ocean. Highly collaborative and fast-paced, the team operates with an “all hands on deck” approach to coordinate closely on communications, marketing and fundraising and often on tight turnaround times. The Digital Content Manager position oversees graphic design (freelance contract), brand management & enforcement, content development and management, collateral management, social media, web and social media analytics, video production (freelance contract), oversight of TOF and associated websites, virtual event support and marketing operations. Technical expertise requirements include: 1) intermediate proficiency with WordPress, 2) proficiency with GoToMeeting webinar platform, Flickr, and Mailchimp services and 3) basic proficiency with Adobe Suite including Photoshop and InDesign. Depending on experience, the Manager may also supervise a Social Media Associate as a direct report. Experience in a nonprofit setting and familiarity with ocean science and policy issues are not required. The Digital Content Manager reports to the Strategic Partnerships Director.
